linear prediction coding was mainly used speech encoding and synthesis. this plugin encodes incoming signal and decodes it immediately after. if you apply it on voice it sounds like you are using a very old speech synthesizer. but in realtime.

it always works as a glitchy distortion.

the x-axis controls the block size which alters the quality of the sound

the y-axis controls the amount of noise that is used as an exciter for the resynthesis. that means that the sound gets more and more noisy. almost like whispering (especially noticeable when you use speech as a source)

parameters for the unit:

• Param1, controls the block size which alters the quality of the sound
• Param2, controls the amount of noise that is used as an exciter for the resynthesis
• Depth, mapped to Depth control
